New essential bit of kit for me. Outstanding., 30 Jan. 2017

This thing is blo*dy fantastic. Yes, you could probably make one yourself- it is just a synthetic type of sponge in a tin. But the packaging is nice, it's useful to have it in a tin where you can close the lid and stop dust getting in, I guess.
It's slightly annoying the way that the sponge spins in the tin as you swirl your brush but I'm REALLY nitpicking there. I mean, if you just lightly place one of your fingers that's holding the tin over the sponge you can stop it moving.
The tin is about the size of a pressed powder compact in diameter/area, but is about an inch and a half deep. So to fit it in a modest sized make up bag sometimes requires some creative shuffling and packing.
The sponge is easy to remove and you could clean it simply with soap and warm water every now and again. But honestly, it doesn't seem to transfer any product from the brush you just cleaned onto the next brush you're about to clean. I will probably continue to sanitise and...

Great product that is really good for anyone who doesn't have dozens and dozens of brushes to choose from. Takes off all the existing eyeshadow effectively. I have recently used some very vivid colours over the weekend and then when I want to go back to more muted neutral colours for work this has worked perfectly.Really cute tin that is just the right size.I imagine it would be great for travelling so you wouldn't need to carry so many brushes.
