An excellent exfoliator at an extortionate price, 31 Oct. 2018

It's hard to review this without mentioning the cost so I'm just going to drive right in there with a yikes, this is expensive! Regardless of the technology Clarisonic boast in the Mia Smart, the long and short of it is, that it is still just a facial exfoliator until you start adding other heads to it. You press the button, turn it on, hold it to your face and it buzzes wildly (though quite pleasantly) gently sloughing off the dead skin on your face, cleansing away dirt and impurities.

There is a lot I like about the Mia Smart. I much prefer the oscillation technology over other exfoliators I've had that use a spinning brush head. Oscillation is much gentler and my skin has thanked me for it. I have acne and as such need to exfoliate regularly to remove dead skin thoroughly (before it can block my pores) but most exfoliators (chemical or abrasion) quickly irritate my skin when used as frequently as I need. Overpriced and gimmicky..., 10 Nov. 2018

It's tough to give this a comprehensive review, since it doesn't come with the attached heads to be able to review its '3 smart actions in one device' - that would be cleansing, firming massage and make-up blending - but the latter two require separate heads that don't come with this package. If they did, I might just about understand the price tag - but as it is, if you need to separately purchase the different heads to get the full benefit of this device, it comes up as massively expensive.

That said, it's a good device for what is - it does leave my face feeling very clean, and it isn't harsh, doesn't leave me feeling buffeted or raw. But there are cheaper products available that will achieve the same result. Sure, they won't come with the gimmicky 'smart' 'connected' option (you can download the app and set up your own customised routine) but how much do you want to pay for the option to have a custom exfoliating routine? Not to mention the ridiculously long charging...

Expensive For What It Does., 24 Oct. 2018

My wife tested this by using the Clarisonic with some cleanser. She said her face did feel cleaned and the Clarisonic made short work getting rid of her make-up, etc. She said her face did feel like it was glowing, but was *almost* sore, but not quite. It is something she would only use occasionally rather than it being used nightly.The item is fairly easy to work out despite pretty scant instructions and the elephant in the room is obviously the price, which is high. Despite the price tag the Clarisonic is only supplied with one head so if you want to have the eye massager head (for example) then you'll have to part with another £50.It is good at what it does, but I don't think the price point is realistic.
