Calcium Bentonite occurs as a light brown clay fine powder at room temperature; it has excellent absorbent properties and is capable of absorbing most forms of liquid (including oils). Face Mask
Take 3-4 tea spoons and mix well with a little water (or rose water). Add just enough water to make a smooth paste. Apply the paste to the skin (avoiding the eye area) and leave to dry for approximately 15-20 mins, then wash off with warm water. You can a few drops of Tee Tree Oil to the paste during mixing to increase the antiseptic properties to help remove spots.
Nappy Rash
Mix the paste described above using plain water and apply the paste the rash area. Leave for a 5-10 mins and wash off.
Bath Soak
Just add 5-6 table spoons to a running bath, allow the clay to dissipate and enjoy.
