Ordered the black and gold set of brushes as had not noticed that silver was also available. No great tragedy though as the gold and black works together nicely. The brushes are well made with smooth plastic handed molded securely on to the gold metal area that secures the bristles. The bristles themselves are soft and strong and look a little like bunny tails due to the grey tint on the brown bristles.

Aesthetically pleasing and good value at around one pound per brush the only criticism I have is storage. The brush set comes packaged in in a bubble wrap envelope and is supplied with a small purple drawstring pouch. The latter appears to be a manufactured item with no relevance to this kit as though all ten brushes fit in the heads remain exposed making it both impractical and unhygienic. Perhaps in future a simple plastic 'popper pouch' could replace both wrapping items supplied here.

So soft. Great quality brushes., 3 Feb. 2016

I have tried many brands of make up brushes in the past and have almost always found the quality of brands that are not so well known consistently remains really poor. I was pleasantly surprised however to discover that this was not the case with these brushes. The brush kit consists of five face brushes and five eye brushes in a range of shapes from tapered to flat and rounded. The quality of the bristles on the brushes is phenomenal. I had a look to see if I could find out what the bristles are made out of but couldn't although I will say the quality of the bristles is comparable to that of horse hair brushes I have bought previously. There is very minimal fall out from the bristles which is to be expected with any make up brushes. The handles of the brushes seem very sturdy and durable. Again I am unsure what these are made from but they definitely seem well made.

These brushes have a variety of application and blending uses and can be used to create dramatic make up...

A Great Set For Beginner or Professional, 2 Feb. 2016

I have purchased a set like this before and loved them so much when i was offered the chance to try these i jumped at it. These are slightly different to the ones i have previously used but are still just as good. Brushes seem to be a big trend in regards to makeup these days and for this price this is a fantastic deal. There are 10 brushes altogether, five are for the face and five are for the eyes. The face brushes are slightly shorter and the handles wider than the eye brushes.

The face brushes are listed as a tapered face brush which comes to a slight point, this is good for applying foundation around the nose and eye area and also concealer as with its tapered edge it gets into the tighter spaces the flatter brushes cant. Its also good for blending contour colours. There is a round face brush which has a slight dome to it, amazing for buffing in any makeup, an angled face brush that i find good again for contour or blush. The flat face brush and flat angled face brush...
