This is really helping with moisturising a post-op scar which is the reason I got it in the first place. I now used it for many moisturising purposes - I even carry around a little block in a small container and use instead of lip balm. I've even run it through my hair and slept in it and my hair was really nice and well conditioned the next day. They say every cloud has a silver lining and my scar has made me discover this wonderful product. I also like the way it turns from solid to liquid with one's own body heat as it's convenient to carry around in a little dry block but it turns soft when applied - and I must admit it even tastes nice too as lip balm - guilt-free chocolate! I do not usually leave reviews but this seller was extremely helpful to me over my delivery and I am very impressed all round.

I ordered this Organic Cocoa Butter Unrefined to mix with my Organic Shea Butter Unrefined for a skin care treatment. This is quality cocoa butter and is a lot more solid than Shea butter as expected but very good for the skin due to its vitamin e content. Would definitely recommend. In order to use this product you can melt/soften it over a stove as you would chocolate over a bowl of boiling water. I do not recommend melting natural butters in the microwave as this damages the natural properties. The scent of this Cocoa Butter is absolutely delicious.

Great old scar reduction product., 28 Oct. 2014

I've been using it for two weeks or so now to treat my old bug bite scars. They were really ugly scars on both my arms and can be seen clearly even from a group photo. So far I can see noticeable reduction of the scars' visibility.

I can compare it to bio-oil which I no longer use. This works much, much faster and better on my skin.

I honestly thought it would come in the form of cream (it's my first time using these things) but it came in uneven blocks of butter (which is good). I was quite confused on how to use it so I thought of using it like a soap bar, so far it's doing well albeit a bit time-consuming. I use it every time after I shower in the morning and before I go to sleep.

I like the soft feeling it leaves after application and the faint lingering scent of cocoa it leaves is very nice too. I'm thinking of alternating/mixing it with pure aloe vera gel, vitamin e oil and rosehip oil and I'll see how it goes.
