These 5.5 inch (14 cm) scissors are well made, with ACEVIVI branding and an attractive stainless steel appearance with gilt finishing. There is a silicone covered metal stopper on the finger loop.

They come very nicely presented in a black pleather zip case with white ACEVIVI branding. The tension is adjustable via a slotted screw on the blades, it is not a 'knurled knob' as described in the listing.

I used to have a pair of scissors that adjusted in this way, and these don't have one.

I've have also seen similar scissors where the gold plated finger rest was removable, but this doesn't appear to be the case with these scissors.

The rubber inserts on the handles are removeable, as someone with relatively slim fingers and thumbs, I was surprised that I had to remove them, to get my thumb and fingers to fit.

If you have slim hands you will be ok, but these scissors are probably best suited to female hairdressers as a result.

Not as anticipated. The reviews for the product were on average, good, however, the scissor's I received were fairly blunt, they are not useable.

I could not find this easily in the high street. So thank Amazon I was able to purchase the item from them . It is very useful in grooming the hair and giving the kids as well as adults a quick trim. I would recommend this.
