I ordered this for my husband who has terrible difficulties reaching his hands and arms behind his back and complained that he hadn't been able to wash his back properly since his earlier, plastic-handled, brush broke nearly 3 months ago.
The brush is supplied in three parts - the wooden handle, the wooden brush which also has a hand strap so can be used by hand too, and a cotton bag containing lavender heads. The brush was packed into the bag of loose lavender so when it was withdrawn, the lavender heads came out with it, scattered all over the floor and had to be vacuumed away before our house-rabbit hoovered them up with his mouth. This was rather unfortunate.
The brush slotted firmly and precisely onto its handle and my husband's verdict was that it is just the right softness, isn't too abrasive and he reports his back feels clean and scrubbed again.
Looking at the brush myself, I could see that the bristle density was good with no gaps or holes...
