I have been using this product for years, but unfortunately my local source has closed down. The product itself is a natural one, with NO chemicals in it.It does what it says on the bottle, and leaves your hair soft and silky. One pump is sufficient for most heads, and one bottle lasts for ages and ages, so although it looks expensive to buy, in fact it is a lot cheaper!

I have been using Black Malva shampoo for my coloured dark hair and thought I would try this as it is something the whole family can use. I am glad I did, it still looks after my coloured hair and smells lovely. I bought a pump to go with the bottle and only use 1 pump to do my hair so as with all aveda products a little goes a long way. Normally I would not spend so much money on hair products but my hairdressers use this so I know it's reliable,not tested on animals free from parabans and is made from plant products.Update on review, I was going to reorder this product but find that I would be paying £10 pounds more than previously. Whilst I am prepared for a price increase, this is a step too far. I can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Superb Shampure, 7 May 2011

I have used Shampure for many years and have never had any kind of bad reaction on my sensitive skin. Although gentle, it thoroughly cleans my hair and also has a very pleasing and natural perfume. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product.
