A bit greasy / limp - not that great for fine / thin hair, 12 Feb. 2015
Bit disappointing.Read around a bit prior to buying this, wanting something for fine, thin hair that wasn't too shiny and would give some texture and hold.First impressions are that it was more of a paste / palmade than expected, closer to American Crew Fibre than the clays I've used previously (That only needed a small amount to give a lot of hold and texture). It may be that my hair is so fine / thin that I have to overload it to get any sort of texture / hold, but really I got more hold / texture from using a texture powder and then a small amount of hair spray. This just seems greasy in comparison.

Pricey, But Quality, 13 Sept. 2015

Very expensive, but is a great product. Allows for a decent matt finish and gives quality structure just don't overwork it as I found it to grease up and make the hair limp. I used to use American Crew Fiber prior to using this but I found it too claggy and easy to gloss-look hair when slightly overworked, especially now that I've chosen a longer length in hairstyle. I use this product to give both a ruffled out-of-bed style and can also be used to give a more professional/slick yet natural look - American Crew Fiber I found gave a more synthetic look - just depends on what style you're after and what hair type/length you have. Given the price difference between the two it's easy to give in to American Crew (although that too can hardly be called cheap...), and if you're happy with it then I wouldn't bother, but like I said earlier, as my hair length increased I found myself searching for another product and took the plunge, and I'm happy with the results this gives. A tub of this...

Admittedly this is at the expensive range for a men's hair care product but it really is worth the extra!
