Excellent quality Pure Essential oil - perfect for toothache!, 20 Aug. 2013

I was having hell with one of my teeth that the nerve was dying inside and waiting for an appointment for a root canal (nasty!)

I've been using Essential Oils for years for both beauty use and in a diffuser in my home. But I didn't have any Clove oil in my oils box.

After browsing around the web looking for a quick fix for the tooth pain I had I read that Clove oil is marvelous as a general pain killer for teeth. I thought I'd give it a try and knew it would be here next day with my Prime membership, so took a chance.

It did work! I put a drop on the end of a cotton bud and applied over and around my poorly tooth and within about half an hour I was a lot more comfortable. Though a lot of places do recommend you mix 3 drops of Clove Oil with a teaspoon of Olive Oil before applying. I didn't do this, I was in so much pain, I wanted the Clove Oil neat. It did the trick.

No different to any other brand we have used, 8 May 2014

We have used clove oil in the past for its anaesthetic properties and had none this time around for our teething baby. Diluted in suitable oil and it did the job. Tried it undiluted on my own gum and it went numb as just previous experiences with clove oil. Note to anyone that clove bud has more anaesthetic properties than stem, leaf.

Okay, I don't use this for aromatherapy. Sorry. I add a few drops of this to sewing machine oil which I then use for polishing knives. It smells really nice.
