Amazing sponges, great for oily skin. Feel so soft and wonderful to use yet not harsh on oily skin., 23 Oct. 2015

I received this sponge set for free in return for a review. The following is my honest opinion on this product:

This is a wonderful set of sponges that would make a great gift for anyone with oily and spot prone skin. This beautiful set of sponges is presented in a lovely box and you get 3 konjac sponges along with a thank you card and some information on using and looking after your sponges.

Each konjac sponges is individually wrapped in plastic to keep it fresh and new. The first thing you do is take off the plastic and give the sponge a good soak in some water. You'll see the sponge almost double in size as it soaks up the water! Once it's been properly soaked it is ready to use.

Now, I've become a convert to konjac sponges having tried another pack first. The sponge feels just like a synthetic sponge yet has more of a bounce when you press it. All you have to do is cleanse your face with the sponge, you don't have to use any cleansers at all...

Gently cleansing and exfoliating - no more soaps or cleaners, 13 Oct. 2015

A trio of Super little sponges infused with activated bamboo charcoal that arrived in a robust and very attractive box. Each sponge comes individually shrink wrapped. To use, unwrap one and soak in water for two to five minutes – just until it is soft all the way through and more or less doubled in size. Rinse through in clean water, then use to cleanse your face - and body too, if you choose – using circular movements. You can use your regular cleanser with them, but they are designed to work alone. I found these sponges wonderfully cleansing using just as directed with water only. Gently exfoliating, they left my skin deliciously soft but not at all dry. They dissolved the lightly roughened skin on my forearms and shins better than any cream exfoliator and left the skin there soft to the touch without redness or dryness.

The charcoal gives the sponge an interesting black colour; the charcoal is anti-bacterial, designed to battle oily skin and acne. I don’t...

I was sent this item in order to provide an honest review. These konjac sponges are wonderful for deep cleansing and are particularly useful if you have oily skin. They are really nicely presented in a stylish box which looks great on the bathroom shelf, or on a dressing table.

I have used sponges like this before so I know how good they can be for the skin! These sponges from The Beauty Shelf are good quality, feel lovely on the skin, and bamboo charcoal can fight acne causing bacteria and remove extra oil and dirt. I also like that each sponge has a little thread loop so they can be hung up.

You get 3 activated bamboo charcoal sponges in this set and they are very simple to use and introduce to your beauty regime. You can use these daily if you want to, or whenever you feel like it. You can use them on the face and body.
