The best anti-wrinkle product ever, 26 Jun. 2011

This beautiful, pure product is simply amazing. I am 55 years old. I have no wrinkles - really. Strangers say they think I am 38. It isn't my genes (Mum has lots of wrinkles). The secret is that I have been using rosehip oil on my face for the past 12 years.

I have an outdoor life, but don't lie in the sun all day, I only occasionally remember to use sunscreen, don't smoke, drink very little. I now only use very pure products on my face as women are poorly served by the cosmetic industry which piles on toxic chemicals, the cumulative effect of which is little researched (no money in the outcome). We need to inform ourselves. We spend so much money on cosmetics and face & body products - for just over a fiver, you can buy a book: Skin deep by Pat Thomas. It's an easy but shocking read. You will see what I mean.

Many moisturisers and anti-wrinkle products contain chemicals which actually accelerate ageing.

I have been using this brand for some years now, but never thought to look on Amazon before. Its's so much cheaper than the other mail order companies I have used.The product makes so much difference to my skin. I don't have a dry skin but even though it is an oil it soaks in easily. It leaves my skin feeling dewy.I use it before any serum and moisturiser, and just three drops morning and evening is enough.

I'm always sceptical when I read such great claims for a product (as I had done with Rosehip oil) but I was willing to give it a go as I wanted something natural with no nasties and A'Kin is definitely that.

I've been using their Rosehip Oil for about three months now, all over my face as a night treatment instead of night cream and just on my *ahem* problem areas in the morning, followed by a moisturiser/sunscreen.

In that time the crows feet around my eyes, nose to mouth lines and a small 'crease' in my chin have all softened and the vertical furrows between my eyebrows have improved to such an extent they have all but disappeared. I am a sceptic no longer! I have never seen such results with any facial product before.

Don't worry as I did that your skin will become oily. The consistency of A'Kin is such that it is more like a dry oil and seems to just disappear into the skin. I do think that the way you apply it (massaging it in and up gently) must help...
