Will never pay for a salon wax again, 15 Sept. 2014

Not many reviews yet on here so I thought I'd post one. I was sick of paying silly prices in my local area for waxing repeatedly and thought I would try this. I was so pleasantly surprised with how easy it was. Lovely smooth result, and really quick. Barely painful at all, seriously! Wax heats up in its own mini saucepan on the hob. It's a bit runnier than most salon waxes I've had but it works fine. Just layer it up a bit. Test it first on your fingertip to make sure it doesn't burn you, I imagine it's quite easy to do that! When it thickens slightly, that seems to be the right temperature. Definitely will use this again and buy refills. It's really good value for money, and good product.

Where do I start??? First of all. There is no instruction to indicate quite how hot the handle will get (over 100 degrees). In addition to this the saucepan is not manufactured for use on top of a hob oven or anything alike. Upon using the product the saucepan slipped (no fault of my own as its the wrong size). And wax was spilled across my hob. Furthermore, the assumption that one person could apply this wax on their own body and gain successful result is truly a myth. This has been a terrible experience I would not recommend for anyone to use this wax - unless they change the saucepan infrastructure. I hope they take my opinion into account, as I have achieved absolutely nothing, apart from mess and stress caused to my mental health. The only way to heat up the wax is to put it above the cooker as you can't put the metal in the microwave. This is not useful. And such a waste of my time and money.
