After using the first time I wouldn't have rayed this much as it felt so weird as it did not foam and it has a watery gel like texture and I felt it wasn't doing anything.I realised that this is a great makeup remover when I left my cleansing balm at home and only had this and my toner.After using it I expected my toner to remove lots of excess but there were no traces at all.I still love a balm for my deep cleanse but that's just a texture thing and I use triple cleanser as a second wash as it's very refreshing and gentle.

Too gentle for me, 25 Feb. 2013

First: I am a big fan of the Alpha-H skincare range. In 30+ years of buying skincare products for oily and acne prone skin, I can honestly say that this is by far the best range I have ever used. And I'm mildly addicted to buying skincare products, so I must have tried a few hundred different products over the years, some of them from fantastically expensive brands and some that are only available on prescription)

So, if I think the range is so great, why do I think this particular cleanser is only so-so?

A lot of this may be due to personal preference (ie, some may actually prefer these qualities!) but basically the two biggest things are:

1. It's non-foaming. Yeah, I know it says that on the bottle, so I was forewarned. I guess I didn't realise how much I like foaminess in a soap! It just doesn't feel like its cleaning my skin at all. I use Alpha-H's glycolic acid cleanser with rice bran as my daily cleanser, and my skin feels really fresh and clean...

Great for my acne prone skin, 13 May 2014
I've been using this product for a while now and have found it to be the only thing that helps keep my mild acne under control.It doesn't give you that 'tight face' feel, nor does it leave a film on your skin. It rinses clean and doesn't irritate the eyes.It's a clear, non-foaming, soap free gel (so don't expect a face full of bubbles). I use it to remove my make up and cleanse my skin. It also removes waterproof mascara if used with a cloth/cotton pads. I prefer to use it with a muslin cloth twice a day.The product is packaged well by the seller and delivery is quick.
