I have used AC pomade for many years. My regular hair dresser has stopped supplying so its good to find another outlet. I like it because it is light hold without a greasy feel that you get from other pomades. It is not a styling pomade and, having a light hold, you hair - depending on length - does tend to loose its hold but without leaving any residue on your collar. Run damp/wet fingers back through your hair will re-establish hold. Washes out easily under the shower with/without shampoo. Love it, long may it be available

Hmm I don't know. It gives a nice shine and the but it doesn't last. It is definitely medium hold like it says which can either be good or bad depending on 1) your hair type and 2) the occasion. It smells like some sort of teenage aftershave which I don't like, it has that chemical/hair gel smell. It's a decent pomade don't get me wrong, it does work and it's better than hair gel or nothing but I think it can be improved a lot. Also I have thick hair and to actually get any shine I have to apply quite a bit, a lot more than a dab. It does however leave decent comb lines and it darkens the hair which is good if you want to add a little darkness. It's also good for casual side parts, but if you want a really really sharp side part this may not work for you unless you apply quite a lot.
