This is the first styling cream I have used, and the first American Crew product also. I'm very happy with both. It is easy to apply and wash out afterwards, and looks good. Recommend to people looking for a nice hair styling product that has a good texture and doesn't make your hair too shiny or brittle feeling

Adds a firm, soft, re-mouldable hold to hair - if used in a certain way., 21 July 2015

I’ve tried using this product on its own and it dries hard and crispy when I want a re-mouldable effect so I can still run my fingers through my hair. So the first time I used this stuff I gave up on it. However, by trial-and-error, I discovered that if I used a small amount of Vo5 Gel Wax and THEN a small amount of Crew Forming Creme, the creme gives added hold to the gelwax and the gelwax stops the creme from drying out to a crispy texture. My hair is clippered short , back and sides, becoming longer towards the front, parted at the side. The combination of these 2 products give a perfect soft but firm hold to my thick, sometimes wavy hair.

Good stuff. Its not clumpy and it works well with thin or light hair. Stops hair looking "fluffy." Would recommend.
