holds my hair in place, people complaining of a 'greasy' look should read the description because its a high shine product, the smell may not be to everyones taste but it is a 'manly' smell, i personally like the smell. it should be described other than a cream though as it is more of a putty/fibre.

Currently having a more vintage, 'Boardwalk Empire-eque' style at the moment with short at the sides and long on the top. I wanted something to keep it in place, not look too greasy but to have that retro appearance. This ticks all the boxes. Would recommend.

TOO THICK AND STICKY FOR ME, 17 Jun. 2014
I'm looking for reasonable hold and shine without that sticky, gummed up feeling. This isn't it, so I'll keep looking. The various brilliantines do the job very well, but have a horrible 'hairdresser's shop' smell.
