A decent product but it's not without it's problems., 15 April 2014

I'm a big fan of American Crew, and this product wasn't that bad, but in comparison to many of their other products it wasn't that great. Although it does give a nice matte effect, I find it really tends to bunch my hair together and makes it very hard and actually quite painful to brush the matte effect in. I've changed the way I do my hair but whenever I use this, it does the job. It also provides a bit of hold, but not enough.

Usually impressed by American Crew products however not so much by this particular one.The hold is ok but the actual product appeared and felt 'bitty' and the bits were visible in the hair.Maybe I just received part of a defective batch but i won't be purchasing again.

Horrible stuff, wrecks your hair!, 11 July 2015

I am usually a great proponent of American Crew products (fiber is unbeatable), however this stuff is awful. It saps all the moisture from the hair, and I had to condition it for weeks to get it back to normal. Buy fiber instead!
