This is a clear transmission gel that is suitable for all cosmetic treatments/therapies which a clear viscous coupling gel is required, including laser and IPL treatments.

I brought to use with hair removing product as recommended item, but I was unsure how to use gel. Looking at product it did not seem to be necessary as protection during use, in fact it would have 'dirtied' lens. In the end I opted for use in aftercare and I found it absorbed well and I have had no skin problems from the treatment. The electrical product does say ordinary skin creams can be used so I'm not sure if purchase was necessary.

Works as good as the awfully expensive gel I bought from Philips to use with their Fraxel Laser device. They stopped selling it and luckily I found this at about a tenth of the price that I used to pay for it.

This gel has proven extremely useful during the lengthy process of beginning IPL home treatments, of which an undue amount of shaving is involved in between. As my photo hair-removal device cannot be in contact with the gel or any other product directly, I have turned to this item as a soothing after-treatment, as well as a pre-treatment for shaving. I have excessively sensitive skin and have to be very careful with what beauty products I use: the gel nonetheless soothes a great deal. Highly recommend.
