Andis not good worker without stepdown 240/120v, 15 Jan. 2013

A disaster, not working properly, even using the Stepdown 240/120V Transformer USA to UK 45VA makes a noise like a grinder, shakes much impossible to cut. I was expectant to have a machine like this because already watched videos on youtube and liked it, but after it I was disappointed.Now I do not know if the problem will be the machine or stepdown because an electrical outlet 120V he already works without noise.
