Effectic cleanser but rather astringent, 4 Jun. 2014

I decided to change from cleansing wipes to this cleanser because the wipes I used weren't cleaning my skin properly. I remembered this product from my teens and early twenties so decided to give it a try again. The milk is less greasy than some other cleansers I have tried and certainly removes all the makeup etc from my face effectively. The only criticism I have is that it has an stringent effect which can make my skin a bit irritated for a while after cleansing and I have had to stop using a toner. This is probably because when I first used it my skin was greasy but with advancing years it has become drier. It is an effective budget cleanser especially if your skin tends to be on the greasy side.

Wonderful stuff!! This was first bought for me as a fourteen year old by my grandmother, who was fanantical about skincare. I'm 52 now and still use it - alongside other ranges - because it's quick and easy to cleanse with when I've been on nights, no need to moisturise with this if I'm heading straight to bed. It's reasonably priced too, I dread the day it's discontinued.

This cleans really well and I like to splash it off with tepid water for a toner and to remove traces of milk. Makes ones skin feel fresh clean and mildly exfoliated. I use this all the time now, since getting it as my face no longer feels clean without it.
