Wow! The last time I used a product similar to this was when my mum used to hot press my hair for school and that was more than thirty five years ago! Since then my hair has always been relaxed, until now. I decided to grow out my relaxer but have struggled to cope with the thick roots growing back and found the smallest of curling tongs didn't quite reach the roots close enough. Well this has truly solved the problem. I almost gave up looking for a hot comb but then stumbled across this one. I love this product! This gets hot enough for me to do the job and I found it really easy to work with. Okay it may not get your hair dead straight but its enough for me to manage and afterwards be able to run my fingers through! The black tip of the comb did get a bit hot so I wouldn't suggest you touch this for too long, its just a guide.Overall I am really pleased with this product (comes with heat mat) and would definately recommend.
