Honey and herb lip balm., 13 Mar. 2013

I bought this as I was given a pot of Apicare Lip Balm, which I really like, but thought a stick would be more convenient for out and about. At first it was very solid and a bit difficult to apply, but it is getting softer with use. I guess as it has a SPF it is probably more suitable for the summer when it is warm, and I expect it would then stay soft. I have now been using this through the summer and it does get softer and easier to apply, and like the pot I had, it does at least stay on your lips so doesn't need constantly re-applying. Since first writing this in March and giving it 3 stars I have now upgraded it to 5 stars as I am really pleased with it and have just ordered some more, and am recommending it to all my friends.

Heaven for Lips!, 8 Jan. 2015

My hands love the "very hardworkers handcreme" that i 1st discovered in NZ many years ago. With being outside all the time, my lips were starting to feel it! I had bought another type of lip balm also made with Bees Wax (burts bees) but that made my lips all gammy feeling so i bought this instead and its really nice. Perfect for me and the taste is fine. To be honest, some very nasty cuts on my fingers due to pulling hay for the sheep also gets it rubbed on. I could do with buying more but it is expensive for what it is.

Very hard , you can not use it on your lips in the winter when it's cold , I had to rub my finger on mine to soften it ., 25 Dec. 2015

This is disappointing as the Lipbalm is very hard , the lady who wrote the review about it was quite right , in the summer it could be very good , but if a product is only meant for summer use ie when it's warmer the seller should make you aware of this .
