Arko Shaving Cream Soap Stick is available in Soaps
Arko Barber's Shaving Cream stick is the king of the inexpensive soaps. To use this stuff properly, thoroughly wet your face and rub the stick with a bit of pressure on the stubble until you can see a layer forming (you shouldn't use the stick to build lather). Then, take a wet brush and build the lather on your face. There's no need for a mug. Just keep in mind that this stuff requires a bit of water to get going properly. It has the most slippery, effective lather is one that is wet almost to the point of being runny. The scent is a classic barbershop note. This soap moisturizes well, lathers well, and provides enough lubrication that you can use it with any of your razors. It does require some fine-tuning as far as figuring out how much water to use when lathering. But it's fantastic stuff -- especially given its price -- once you make it work the way you want.

I bought this for £2.99 delivered back in March. It now seems to be an add on item. I bought it along with all the other kit after getting into DE shaving as I was sick of paying absurd prices for a bit of metal and plastic with Gilette Fusion blades.
Best move I have ever made with shaving and I do not suffer from ANY razor burn or spots round my neck that always happend with disposable cartridge shaving.
I am not a shaving fetishist and do not get a semi about different razor handles, creams, pre shave treatments, pure bristle brushes etc. I got into this way of shaving as I don't like wasting money so I bought all the cheapest bits I could that came in at under £20.
I am very happy with the cheapest items I have bought and feel no need to upgrade.
This shaving stick is great. Bought in March it has hardly gone down & I am sure it will last me to the end of the year at least.
