Arko Shaving Cream Soap Stick - 12 Pieces is available in Soaps

Arko Barber's Shaving Cream stick is the king of the inexpensive soaps. To use this stuff properly, thoroughly wet your face and rub the stick with a bit of pressure on the stubble until you can see a layer forming (you shouldn't use the stick to build lather). Then, take a wet brush and build the lather on your face. There's no need for a mug. Just keep in mind that this stuff requires a bit of water to get going properly. It has the most slippery, effective lather is one that is wet almost to the point of being runny. The scent is a classic barbershop note. This soap moisturizes well, lathers well, and provides enough lubrication that you can use it with any of your razors. It does require some fine-tuning as far as figuring out how much water to use when lathering. But it's fantastic stuff -- especially given its price -- once you make it work the way you want.

Probably the best shaving soap for your money., 19 Oct. 2012
I've just bought a box of twelve for less than a £1 per stick inc P&P, through an Amazon seller. The stick generates a fantastic lather either using the stick directly on the beard or pushed into your shaving mug/bowl, and then whipped up with a badger brush. The scent is of citronella (lemons) and to be honest, I like it. The scent does get weaker if left in an open packet. As I mentioned above, you can squash it into a bowl, its texture is like a stiff putty. I put one of the sticks into a cheap £2 stainless steel bowl obtained from a well known Swedish home store (four letters, begins with "I" ends in "A" with a "KE" in the middle"). The resulting lather would put a high-end shaving soap/cream to shame.Don't think about it, just buy it.

good product, 15 Dec. 2012
i would like to review this product and review the seller as well. the product is good, there are 12 shaving sticks in the box and they have a good size. they should last you for a year. the lather is good and leaves your skin very soft and never dry. however, this product has a powerful smell, it could knock out a donkey unconscious with the smell. it smell like a powerful toilet cleaner. i dont think i could use it when i got hayfever, because the smell is too strong and sensible noses will suffer indeed. but the lather is amazing and shaving with this soap is a joy, if you can stand the smell that is. the seller is a good seller and the delivery was on time.

Just love it!, 29 Jun. 2012
These sticks produce a nice thick lather with a wonderful lemony scent. Just keeping the stick in your bathroom gives you a welcoming smell! The sticks are large too, so 12 of them at this price is a real bargain. As they're going to last me a long, long time, I'm keeping them in an airtight box to preserve the scent.
