Does a good job, 15 Mar. 2015

Got these as I was looking for a pump bottle for my home-made moisturising lotions. Thought it would be more hygienic than sticking my fingers into a glass jar (I only use natural preservatives, so the potential for bacterial/mould growth is higher).

Unfortunately, the pump on this only works for the most watery of lotions. I made my lotions thinner than usual so I could dispense them from the bottle - the consistency was similar to that of double-cream. However, I tried and tried, but the pump doesn't work with them at all. Nothing comes out but air. Giving up, I had to tip the lotions into glass jars anyway. While tapping the neck of the bottle on the side of the jar to get the cream out -- not THAT hard, I don't think -- the bottle chipped and I ended up having to fish blue glass fragments out of my cream. Probably my own fault, but the glass is obviously not that strong.

So all in all, these bottles would be best for very very VERY thin lotions or water-based...

Excellent good size bottles, 5 Nov. 2015

Excellent good size bottles... I decanted my facial oils & vitamin C serum to these bottles as I don't want them exposed to air & risk contamination everytime I open their old contamers... This fits the bill for my intended purpose...
