I have tried a few beauty products from the Art Naturals Range and what I am noticing is that they are consistently good. From the Jojoba Oil to the shampoo and conditioning mask and shower gel they use natural ingredients and provide beauty without cruelty which ticks a lot of boxes for me. I was excited to try the Vitamin C serum from the range as I always use a serum underneath my moisturiser, with the background and previous positive experience I had high hopes for the serum.

First impressions and product use

I noticed straight away that the serum has a magic ingredient - Hyaluronic Acid which is a great anti ageing skincare hero. You should not be put off by the term acid because it's a skin friendly one! The serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper applicator. Inside the serum is runny (as expected) and a clear milky colour. Certainly makes skin smooth and soft!, 18 Dec. 2015

I have been using this product for five days now. I have not seen a massive difference with respect to sun-spots, but I guess that would take a little more time. I have however, noticed that after application, my skin does feel smoother and softer, and my moisturizer goes on more smoothly, so I am very happy to use this product as a serum and primer. I will give this product at least 14 days (perhaps longer) to see a result about the sun-spots and marks, because that takes time and it is unreasonable to expect a miracle.It also has a faint 'vitamin' fragrance which I do not find unpleasant at all, but that is my personal opinion. The quantity and price is very reasonable in comparison to similar products in the market, and its Vitamin C base is an added bonus for the skin.

However, there are a couple of other issues to be noted about the product.

I am very happy to buy a variety of products from this company based on their methods of producing high quality goods that are not only beneficial to the people purchasing them, but are also minimising any effect they have on the environment, they are also certified vegan which for me is the deal breaker.

I have only been using this product for a week or so, and therefore the results are not significant so far. I can however say that I enjoy using it and feel that my skin is already benefitting from the contents, it goes on very easily, not greasy which was my biggest concern, and a little goes a long way. My skin certainly feels softer and even appears clearer, I am hopeful that the sun spots that have developed recently will begin to fade as suggested. I will certainly continue to use it as there have been no negative effects, my skin does feel more supple, there is no unpleasant smell to this and it can only be a plus to be absorbing vitamin C in this manner.
