Good cleanser.... but don't expect miracles, 22 Mar. 2013

In high school I was one of the unlucky ones who's face was riddled with acne, but fortunately I got it under control and throughout uni it has all but disappeared...... until about 5 months ago when I started getting massive breakouts.

Over the last 5 months I've tried everything - from just washing my face with water to buying stuff from america which cost upwards of 100 quid - and nothing has worked. So, after being recommended by a friend, I tried to give this stuff a bash.

While I would say it's an amazing face wash, I wouldn't expect any miracles if you're suffering from a lot of spots. I actually think it smells good, kind of fresh which helps to wake you up in the morning, and it definitely leaves your skin feeling clean. It has helped keep some of my smaller spots at bay, but, even after about 3 weeks of use, it hasn't done much for my acne in general.

I ordered this skin wash, having used it before. When it arrived it was a white bottle with red band across the front (not the blue/green bottle shown in the picture). I presumed they had updated the packaging and thought nothing of it. However, when I went to use it, the skin wash was yellow rather than green as it was in my old bottle ( I had previously decanted the blue/green bottle into a small clear bottle for travelling so was aware of the colour of the skin wash). It also barely smelt of tea tree oil, unlike the previous bottle which smelt very strongly. I googled the difference between the two bottles and found a review saying the blue/green bottle is from the professional range whereas the white bottle is a range available on the high street which contains much less of the active ingredients. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend anyone to buy this product.

helps keep my sweat rash under control. nice smell when using but this does not linger on the skin. all Australian body care products do exactly what they advertise. the blue bottles contain a higher percentage of tea tree than the white ones so you can choose a lower concentrate to suit your needs, they last for ages as a little goes a long way.
