This Light version of D-Pigment is ideal for normal to combination skin, with a fine, highly absorbent texture enriched with shine-reducing powders.

For skin that has developed patches that are darker than the rest of the complexion, Avène present a targeted skin-lightening treatment. These patches are most commonly caused by the sun (solar lentigines and melasma) or scarring from spots and cuts (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation), and become an increasing concern as skin ages thanks to hormonal imbalances and excessive UV exposure.

The unique formula of Avène D-Pigment Light is made up of a 0.5% concentration of Melanyde, a 0.05% concentration of Retinaldehyde, and a 0.1% concentration of Pre-tocopheryl. Melanyde is a powerful depigmenting active which slows down the synthesis of melanin; Retinaldehyde is a skin lightening active derived from Vitamin A that stimulates cell renewal; and Pre-tocopheryl is a powerful, protective antioxidant that curbs the excessive production of melanin.

Apply to areas of concern - including the face, hands and décolleté - after cleansing and moisturising as normal. You're left with skin that is more even, smoothed, and glowing.
