A beard balm that will take care of your skin as well, 8 Dec. 2015

I am trying my hardest to encourage my firends to come round to the idea that organic lotions and potions are far kinder to your skin than man made stuff - so I was delighted to find this little tin of organic beard balm to present to a friend as a gift. He was sceptical at first but once he had applied it he liked it! This balm not only tamed his beard but it has all the ingredients in it for keeping your skin nice as well - the vitamin E and shea butter are all things that I use on my own face.

When he used this product his beard was glossy and smooth but not greasy, it just looked really 'healthy'. The smell is lovely as well, not too overpowering, a little bit like vanilla I would guess. If you live in a cold area I would suggest that you put the tin near the radiator just for a couple of minutes so that you can get the balm out easily as it is made with beeswax so can get hard.

B.I.G. Beard Balm - 100% Organic Premium Beard Balm.

This tin of wax came safely wrapped in bubble wrap.

It's not particularly huge as another reviewer stated, the tin is only approximately 6cm wide and 3cm deep.

The tin , when delivered has a seal on it, so you know its not been tampered with.

Upon opening the tin, you are pervaded by the strong vanilla smell.

It is fairly strong, so if you dislike vanilla, this may be of concern to you.

The wax itself is quite solid, a bit like shoe wax.

The ingredients are all natural; A blend of 100% Organic Beeswax, Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Jojoba Oil, & Vanilla Oil, Grapeseed Oil.

You scrape the wax into your palm and then rub it to warm and soften it.

Then apply to your beard.

It is a wax, so you will find the product is quite difficult to apply unless properly warmed and softened.

Much to my wife's annoyance and for the last twelve months, I have been sporting a rather dashing beard. Actually, that was a lie; rather, I had a wirey, anti-social, ASBO of a beard. It is with this burden which prompted me to look for a product to keep my wild bristles and separatist hairs in check. Now, whilst I would never describe myself as the 'trendy hipster' type, I often admired the many neo old-school gentleman's grooming products that are so often marketed to those types. So, my need for beard control and my interest in the latter product genre prompted me to seek this this barber-shop style brand. Very, very happy with it!

The product comes in a handy little tin which is approximately the size of that of a pocket Vaseline. I find this really convenient and allows one to maintain their face-fur both throughout the working day and on a night out.
