Firstly my hair is extremely thick and frizzy so I never expect much from straightening products but these were great.Really easy to use and heat up quickly and to quite a high temperature for thick hair.I used a heat protecting serum first and then brushed the brush through my hair over the front and underneath, you can really tell the difference.My hair was not poker straight but left it frizz free and it had a lovely shine to it.It seems to give my hair more body than using straighteners. I guess if you so want your hair poker straight then just apply the brush for longer.Really easy to use and lightweight so can be used one handed.Makes a nice change from my straighteners and cools down a lot quicker.

I have curly frizzy hair. For my professional meetings at work or for special ceremonies, I prefer to straighten my hair. I searched a long time to find an efficient hair straightener. I don't want spend hours trying to straighten hair. I have a busy life! Time is money!

Reliable and effective, 28 Feb. 2017

I ordered this straightening brush for my mum, but as they can be a bit hit and miss regarding effectiveness, I have been testing it out myself. We both have short ‘bob’ styles, and some brushes don’t ‘grip’ my hair sufficiently to have any effect. As it is, I have used this several times this week and am quite pleased with its performance, so I will be passing it on to my mum!

It arrived well packaged in a sturdy box, although the instructions are a bit sketchy: there is just one button on the handle, which turns it on and off, and controls the heat setting. I have used it at the lowest setting of 180°C, and this was just right. The digital display is a useful feature, although it took a little while to heat up (around a minute or so).

It is useful for brushing hair if you have had it tied back, and is ideal for refreshing your hair after a day at work. The cable is sufficiently long enough to have plugged into a low socket whilst still allowing you to use the...
