The holy grail - a quiet and light professional standard dryer, 14 Nov. 2008

I have been searching for a replacement hairdryer for some time, but trying to get something which had a professional standard motor and was neither too big or too noisy was v difficult. Finally happened across this, and I cant understand why it is not more well known! OK it is not the cheapest, but it is about half the weight of a lot of the professional dryers, and a really sensible size. And the best thing is that it really is pretty quiet - not too painful even on bad mornings!! My only slight grouch is that its cold shot is not what I would call true cold - but it works just fine to set and smooth.

Having a weak wrist, due to breaking it several times, I find hairdyers make my wrist ache. Not the Babyliss "Powerlite". It is exactly as described. At only 445g it is easy to hold and manoeuvre it's also very powerful, even on the lowest setting.I love it - Thoroughly reccommended!

This hairdryer is an excellent buy. Its lighter, quieter and dries my hair faster than many others I have tried. It has more heat settings for greater control and a nice long flex for those inconveniently placed sockets. I'm delighted with it. Excellent value for money.
