Very Good Product, 7 Oct. 2012

I bought this product a fair few years ago now, and am very pleased with it. The blades have started to go now which you would expect after a few years use on a regular basis so I am ordering a new one. Lovely jubbly.

In principle, this is a great little package for all your grooming needs. In practice though, not so much. The main trimmer is for moustaches and beards, and it just doesn't work acceptably. The trimmer head is apparently way too much for the electric motor to handle. It has to be secured just right or it doesn't work at all, and when it does, it quickly slows down as the motor can't supply enough power to keep the trimmer going. This means it stops and tugs at your facial hair, which can be pretty painful.

The other supplied trimmers are better, you get one for nasal and ear hair, and another for eyebrow trimming. These are smaller and perform much better. So if they are the main reasons you would consider this product, go for it, but if you want the full 6-in-1 experience, I'm not sure I can recommend this BaByliss.

It's reasonably well put together in cheap plastic, and the clip-on combs work OK (even though they are a little tough to clip on and off)...

disappointing, 21 Sept. 2013

I bought this to replace one I have used for several years thinking it was the same.My old one could be recharged on the mains and was a much better quality item and gave better results. This, although it looks the same on-line is, battery operated and has a cheap feel and appearance and only does an OK job.
