If you're looking for a beard trimmer then this certainly could be the one for you.
I've had this beard trimmer for a while now and have found it to be the best beard trimmer I've ever had.
First off this trimmer is cordless which was the major selling point for me. I've had trimmers in the past that were plug in ones, and they were always a pain to use. Being able to use this in the bathroom, over the sink Is just brilliant and less mess than having to do it in my bedroom over a towel. Simply plug it in and charge for a couple of hours and you'll get at least 4-5 uses out of it. It may last longer than 4-5 uses but I generally leave my beard to grow quite thick. One thing I was disappointed at is that my version had a 2 prong plug so I had to by a UK adapter to plug it in. I can't confirm if this is the case for all versions or if there is a UK plug version I'm afraid.
Also, this trimmer has the electronic display which tells you what length you're cutting...

Babyliss always seem to take two steps forward & one step back. I have two other stubble trimmers manufactured by them: the oldest one has a motorised guard & worked brilliantly for 18 months before the battery gave up. The replacement had the ubiquitous plastic guard: the battery has lasted two years+ & is still going strong, but the guard is flimsy & the height adjuster broke totally, rendering it useless.
So now I have the 7895U-I. It has a motorised guard & an allegedly improved battery, so it SHOULD tick the boxes that it's forerunners didn't.The guard extends from 0.4mm to 5mm, which is OK, but maybe it leaves a bit to be desired, as the original extended from 0.5mm to 15mm. The guard can be flipped out of the way if you want to get even closer to your skin. Speed is fine, & it only needs a second pass occasionally. It retains the nice little LCD screen of the previous motorised-head version & has a memory function that doesn't reset the blade to minimum whenever you...

Recently lots of companies have been making their products "digital" which normally means the same or reduced functionality with some fancy electrical controls at a higher cost.
I bought an equivalent manual trimmer for similar cost to this only last year, it's great but as with all shavers as soon as you apply too much pressure or try and trim along the contours of your jaw-line the adjustable guard slips or can’t adjust to the contour of your face.
This shaver really does hold at the measurement you select, because the motor is locked by the digital controls there is no slip in the adjustment, and what’s even better is the fact it stops trimming if you accidently press the adjustment buttons for an even trim!
The precision of the measurements means you can trim not just your beard but side burns back of neck etc. with the precision of hair clippers.
The head is spring loaded meaning that you can trim along the contours...
