Great idea, could have done with advice on which size to buy, 22 Oct. 2008
I was really looking forward to using this wand when it arrived, but I hadn't thought about whether the length of my hair would matter or not - it did! I have shoulder length fine hair but it has several layers in it and it would only just wind around the wand once so no curl acheived. If I had realised I would have bought the smaller wand at 13 - 25mm which would have been much more suitable to my layered hair. It does get very hot and I managed to burn my hand and forehead within 5 minutes of trying it but I'm sure with practice this would improve. It does come with finger gloves but it was a bit weird trying to separate my hair with the gloves on, again I think I'd improve with practice. I will now sell this one and buy the smaller one and hopefully soon be a master at creating curls.

Excellent! The glove is great and I haven't burnt myself once (I don't see how you could if you're doing it properly!) my hair is dead straight and very dry so I'm so pleased with the lovely waves and how my hair feels/looks/smells. It doesn't leave my hair frizzy or smelling burnt like my old curling tongs. My hair is just above my breasts and works great on long hair. Even though my hair is very fine I had to use a high heat to get the curls to last so maybe play around with the settings instead of following the guide exactly. Would 100% recommend.
