Removes hair better than others, 21 Jun. 2012

These came with my Pro Wax Starter Kit and after replacing the first packet I went for the cheaper option (as if these weren't cheap enough, I think I saved myself about 50p) but went back to these straight after. I was surprised because I was using the same wax and didn't think strips would make a difference (hence cheapy option) but the cheaper ones just didn't pick up hair as well! I'd re-strip 2-3 times to remove all the hair, which is achieved in one go using these strips.What the previous reviewer says about the frayed edges is true (and is the only reason the product gets 4 not 5 stars), but as I have found these on the other brands I've seen online, can't knock it too much.Basically: I will always buy these.

They do the job, but are not as good at the strips with came with my wax (ordinary microwave in a tub wax from the local chemists) The main problem with them if the edges, had they been standard rectangular strips they would probably be okay, however they have a zig-zag edge. This means they fray everwhere - DREADFULLY! So although they work be prepared for lots (and lots and lots....) of tiny threads/fluff EVERYWHERE!

Reasonable price and work very well for the job in hand. Rather than driving around looking for wax strips it's far easier to simply order on line considering that the delivery was so fast. I do agree they shed little bits, but not a big deal if you work fast.
