I was given the opportunity to sample this product at a discounted price in order to provide feedback on the product and what I thought of it.
I have to admit, I was sceptical before trying the product about the merits of Hyaluronic acid (and the other miscellaneous ingredients) and whether or not it would actually have a positive affect on my skin. The product claims that it moisturises your skin and fills in fine lines and wrinkles. It certainly does moisturise and my skin looks a lot better, but as a 20 year old I'm fortunate that I don't have to worry about wrinkles yet so I can't really comment on that.
However, the serum did something I really didn't expect it to - it completely got rid of my acne. I have suffered with acne constantly for years and have tried pretty much everything to get rid of it. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for honest feedback, which I will now provide. I have been trying to look after my skin, in recent years, as I'm entering my late 20s now. Pregnancy has begun to take its toll on my skin and I don't want to look old before my time!
This serum is well packaged and has a nice look to it. The branding of the packaging is fun and it would make a great gift for a skin conscious friend. The bottle is glass, so it is nice and strong, and there is a pipette to allow this to be dispensed easily.
The actual serum has a gellish consistency to it. You use the pipette to apply a few drops to your hands and then you rub it over your face. I personally massage in small circles and work downwards and off to the underneath of my chin. This helps me ensure that all of the serum has been absorbed and that none goes to waste. Luckily enough, I became interested in products containing vitamin C (an anti oxidant) when reading about skin free radial damage which causes skin ageing! Products containing vitamin C such as this one helps control this problem. This product also contains plant based Hyaluronic acid (HA), HA is actually found in the collagen of the skin some examples of its function include: stimulates production of collagen in skin, improves skin hydration, works as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger and maintains skin elasticity.
