I actually have these eyeliners in three shades: brown, gold and white.

For the general lining of eyes, they're all decent enough. Brown and gold smoke out/smudge well if you want them to or stay put if applied with precision, although this might not be the case if you have an oily eye area as my eye area is pretty annoyingly dry. The gold isn't particularly vivid, I'd definitely say it's on the more subtle side.

Want to put these liners in the waterline? This is their only downside, really. They don't have the staying power for that. Brown is gone within minutes, so if you're the type of person who's okay with re-applying, it's still not worth bothering because it vanishes at top speed. White, which is a good colour for making eyes look bigger, will last an hour or two but somehow looks flaky in the waterline. Gold on the other hand lasted all day on me in the waterline. But as I said, it's pretty subtle anyway, so I'm not sure it's worth it.

I was looking for a white eyeliner to use on my waterline, to get the effect of wider, brighter eyes, and stumbled upon this Barry M Kohl Pencil. I was impressed with the range of colours on offer, as well as the cheap price, and thought it was worth a go. I am very impressed with this pencil, considering how cheap it is. The white is very white with a thick application, but works best just swept along to give a soft white effect which isn't so obvious. The pencil itself is quite soft, making it gentle for application and easy to blend, you just need to be careful when sharpening it, as it can crumble easily if sharpened too much. The liner doesn't have excellent staying power, which is why I've given it four stars. Overall, I am impressed with the quality for the price, and would recommend for someone wanting to test out a new look before buying something more expensive.
