Smells great, but doesn't work well for me., 28 Oct. 2017

I am a big fan of Batiste's regular dry shampoo and use it whenever I need to give my sometimes greasy hair a lift, I think it is absolutely fantastic. I had not tried this new version with conditioner before and was excited to see what a difference it could make.

Firstly, the positives, it smells gorgeous. One of the nicest smelling hair products I have ever used. Also, it really IS invisible, I was not able to find even the smallest traces of powder after using it on my hair.

However, this is not for me. The addition of conditioner seems to have negated the oil absorbing powers of the dry shampoo. Although my hair smelled fantastic, this did not improve the greasy root situation one bit, making it a bit useless for me. I tried it a few times in case I had used too much, and even tried spraying it from a greater distance, but to no avail. It smells lovely but I won't be getting this type again. Better as a shine spray...., 24 July 2017

I was lucky enough to receive a free sample of the 2 in 1 Dry Shampoo, however I'm not sure I'm 100% convinced this is a better alternative to the traditional version. I am a regular user of Baptiste Dry Shampoo and was quite excited to try this product, especially as it's made especially for darker hair. I did like the new way to apply the spray; in a halo-like motion. This method seemed to give more of an even distribution and did cover all angles. The smell, which I was worried would be sickly sweet, was quite strong but wasn't too bad. At first I was quite impressed with the result. The spray left NO white residue and my hair felt lovely and refreshed. But, this only lasted a few hours and I then had to top up my hair with my regular dry shampoo to cover my now greasy roots. Although my ends did fell soft and had a lovely shine.

Dirty/greasy to sleek hair in a couple of minutes, 16 July 2017

I was lucky enough to have a can of this product to try and expected it to be good as I use Batiste dry shampoo. It is different to the normal Batiste and you don't get the 'white bits' but you use it basically the same way, spray in a halo type motion and not directly on the roots then work/massage in before styling. I have long hair which is in good condition, thankfully, so when I tried it first (my hair was clean) it was a little too heavy and had the opposite effect I was expecting - for this reason, if you have fine hair or well conditioned hair, you need to use only lightly and when you hair really does need a wash. I used it again later that week and it was great and really made a difference to my hair and left it quite sleek looking which was a bonus. Another bonus is the lovely scent but this is not overpowering if you wish to wear perfume for instance. I will be buying this and it will always be part of my hair care now, possibly totally replacing the Batiste and other dry...
