This has been more useful than I expected. The only negatives are that one of the handles was bent, but I put that one on the bottom drawer. I also find it fairly hard to keep the organiser clean, since it attracts and shows every speck of dust. That said, it is brilliant. It is larger than it seems on the pics. Even though I checked the measurements, I was still surprised by the “presence” on the dresser. I use the top section for foundation bottles, mascara, lipsticks, tablets, nail clippers, etc. I put non-slip liners in the drawers, and they are great for makeup and jewellery. Neat and accessible, but out of the way.
While the top section is too deep for Mac lipsticks, a question that seems to come up fairly regularly, there are two solutions - the divider on the righthand side is loose, and has a top layer and a middle layer (like a shelf, about halfway up), which helps to keep tall items in position. I have updated this review to include photos for comparison, as this was a huge factor for me when deciding which unit to buy.
Still incredibly happy with the product! The drawers are not deep enough to stand a nail polish bottle or the likes of a Benetint bottle upright, but aside from that, it's fantastic - this would be my only "complaint", as going forward, it would be nice to have 1 drawer deep enough to accommodate these, and it wouldn't add too much height to the unit itself.
This is a fab make-up organiser. It comfortably fits the Naked palettes (could fit 4 in one drawer) or a MAC 15 shadow palette (could easily fit two). The box compartments on top easily fit MAC or Smashbox blushes too, and brushes easily stand up in the circular compartments. Both of these can also be fully removed, to add extra storage if needed.
