Such an easy way to apply foundation!, 8 Sept. 2016

I'm not a makeup guru at all and I tend to be pretty terrible at applying it. However, I do feel more comfortable if I have a small layer of foundation on, so I was really interested in trying out a sponge. Previously, I just used my fingers to apply foundation, which is less than ideal really. I've used brushes in the past, but they left my face looking streaky.

This sponge arrived in a small, professional looking box. The back of the box contained instructions on how to use the sponge, and suggested that you use it wet to get a sheerer coverage. When you wet the sponge, it expands quite significantly! It offers a really good surface area on the base, so it makes applying foundation quite a quick process. However the pointy end is also ideal for applying makeup in harder to reach areas, such as under your eyes or at the very sides of your face. I have attached photos of the sponge in its wet and dry condition, as well as the coverage it offered my skin.

I like to use a cosmetic sponge for foundation - when I saw this Beauty Blender Sponge the time was right for me to get a new one.The little black sponge is about the size of a small egg, sort of conical in shape. I am using the soft pointed end to apply concealer and the larger base for foundation. The overall shape makes it so ease to use all aspects of the "egg" to blend make-up. I love it.Other features that appeal to me are that is it Latex free, it washes easily in warm water and I realise that the black colour is very effective in letting me see products on the sponge before applying. Also Limitless Beauty sensibly recommends that the sponge should be replaced after one to three months - good advice, thank you.I am very happy to have obtained this cosmetic sponge at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
