I used this products to dip dye my fairly dark brown hair, something I have wanted to do for ages. I was debating for a long time as to whether I should bleach the tips before applying this colour and after reading all the previous reviews that said it wouldn't work as well on unbleached hair I decided to use Jerome Russell Bblonde Hair Lightener (which was also really effective). Firstly I brushed all of my dry hair, fashioned a middle parting and separated all of my hair into 16 sections. Next I tied little hairbands about 15cm from the end of my hair to act as a guideline. After following the instructions on the packet, I left the bleach on for about an hour, washed it all out and used the conditioning shampoo provided and brushed the ends again. Whilst still fairly wet I applied La Riche Directions to the bleached parts and left for around 45 minutes. Finally I washed this out until the water was nearly clear and then left my hair to dry naturally.

Fabulous product I always buy mine through beautiful 24 on Amazon,they offer 4 tubs of your own preference,never had any problems with delivery the staff are very good and very helpfully.I Would recommend bleaching hair first to get a better depth of colour.I usually highlight my hair then apply the colour on top so you get more vibrant and tonal shades instead of a solid colour block(I am a hairdresser so that helps) I leave the colour for over an hour to develop as the colour is semi permanent this won't harm your hair at all,again before you start put on Vaseline around your hairline,ears and back of your head,Gloves at least 2 pairs,tinting brush(so you can apply easily down to the roots) old towel.Once you have applied to the roots too approx half the hair shaft apply then to the ends and massage the colour in all the way down to the scalp for an even coverage,The hair will always be more porous at the front quadrant as this more open to the elements so will be more vibrant so...
