I read the other reviews carefully before I bought this, and have tried it for some weeks before giving my considered verdict. It's true that it does not boost volume hugely, and also true that using too much looks bad; that said, my hair would look flatter the next day if I was NOT using this product, so it is having an effect, and I will continue to use it to give some body to my hair. My hairdresser used a volume booster like this in conjunction with Tigi bedhead hair meringue, which created more body, and I have tried both options at home. I have come to the conclusion that if it's really big hair you're after, you won't beat a mousse, or mousse-like product, but for a more subtle look, a root booster like this one is the best alternative.

I have fine hair which always looks limp in winter. I saw a recommendation for this product in a women's magazine and decided to try it. The results have been even better than I could have hoped for. My hair looks thick and full of volume and is much easier to manage between washes

I am always trying out volume type products as my hair is very fine, a lot of them leave my hair greasy or they dont work. I really like this product as it gives a bit of volume and doesnt leave hair feeling greasy or weird! Especially good when iv curled the ends as it gives the top of my hair a bit of oomph! Would recommend and have bought some more for my Mum!
