MIDNIGHT HEAT opens with a dark and rich plum note and, whilst I know it's meant to be star fruit, what smells to me like raspberry. There is also some fig, too. The plum note is much stronger then the other fruits and carries down to the perfume's heart and base.

I'm not able to separate any floral notes apart from the peony from the powdered jumble, as the patchouli develops quickly and lasts for the entire 'life' of the perfume. The mix of earthy patchouli, powdery florals and rich fruits is very curious; the structure of everything here doesn't really go together, but it works somehow.

There is no strong indication between the heart notes and the base, thanks to the constant presence of plum and patchouli. The sandalwood and amber are mingled closely together so it is a warm and creamy mix.

Official scent notes: plum, star fruit, Orchid, black tulips, purple peony, warm amber, sandalwood and patchouli.

I bought this perfume as a Christmas stocking filler for my 17 year old daughter. It's always a bit of a gamble when buying a new perfume as it is a very personal thing. However, after reading the reviews, I decided to take the plunge and I'm glad I did.My daughter loves the perfume and has not stopped wearing it since she opened it on Christmas day. It's a lovely smell which is not overpowering but it lasts. I would definitely recommend this product

An okay scent, just not to my taste., 9 May 2016

I bought this in theory as an 'everyday' fragrance, and to be honest I don't use it all that often.It's scent does seem to last throughout the day, and keep getting little reminders of it. People do comment on the sweet scent.Official scent notes: plum, star fruit, Orchid, black tulips, purple peony, warm amber, sandalwood and patchouli.My only quibble is the shape of the bottle (I realise that they are all the same shape) but I struggle to hold it in one hand to spray it.Overall an okay scent, just not to my taste.
