My girlfriend is weird.

She enjoys spending her time watching videos on YouTube of people squeezing spots. The bigger and more full of stinking acrid puss the better as far as she's concerned. If she were to write a CV for a job interview i'm sure she'd even go as far as 'watching spot squeezing YouTube videos' as one of her hobbies/leisure activities irrespective of what the job was. Often if you were to listen outside our bedroom you'd most likely hear things like 'It's coming out like a tube of toothpaste!', 'look at the head on that!', 'I can't take my eyes off that thing it's the biggest I've ever seen!' - and then she may even comment on some of those YouTube videos ;)

We recently went on holiday together and sat on an plane for 2 hours. At the start of our journey I made the mistake of telling her that I had an ingrowing hair on my neck and then I spent the remaining 1 hour and 59 minutes with her about 6 inches from me staring at me like Hannibal Lecter...

UPDATE 29/042016:

I've actually come back to add a star, as out of the 3 kits I have bought, this is the one I always come back to. It has got the smoothest, most effective wires, the best lancet out of the three, and that spoon-like eyehole one is amazing for reduced pain. Don't look further, this is your kit.

I have watched several hours of footage of blackheads and whiteheads being drained and ingrown hairs being removed (I'm sick, I know), so in all those professional videos I saw those strange little tools being used and I just had to have them.

So this pretty kit arrives well packaged, and its case looks very elegant, just like in the photo. So here are its

Rather inkeeping with the last review, a facial steamer this kit goes hand in hand with its work in keeping skin clear and spot free. When the steamer loosens stubborn pores, this kit steps in to apply hygienic and the right pressure without causing damage or infection that squeezing with fingers can do.

The kit is plush, it has a padded red velvet backing with six double ended tools and a pair of slanted tweezers. The whole set zips around the edge and is nice and compact.

In use

Different tools will tackle different jobs but I have found most helful are the round ones with holes. There is a lancing (but blunt blade end, lops, holes and you can get pores, white heads, black heads and anything that resides in your face that should not be there. Using the tools does leave an indent on your face just after you use it so it is probably best not to...
