Great Stuff - best on a wet face, 10 Jun. 2016

I remember my father had a small bottle of this in his bedroom when I was a small boy. I always found the colour and the seagull attractive. As an adult I appreciate the clean and masculine fougere fragrance.

I only began using an electric razor this year. I use a Braun Series 3 electric shaver with which I am very happy, it can be used wet or dry. My understanding of pre shave lotions is that you apply the lotions to make the bristle of the beard stand up more so that they are more easily cut. To be honest I didn't find this effect with this product. I did feel that the shave was slightly more comfortable.

One morning I forgot to shave before showering, so having stepped out of the shower and with a still wet face I applied the Blue Stratos pre-shave lotion and was delighted to find the foils of my razor gliding over my skin very smoothly and shaving more bristle first time than if I had used it on my dry face. I bought this product because I was looking for a pre electric shave that actually worked. I read the reviews which were favourable, so took a gamble. So far so good. It certainly does the job and gives a close enough shave, and it has a pleasant but not overpowering, fragrance. I would have awarded 5 stars had it not been for the poorly designed bottle which, however careful you are, does tend to spill the contents down the outside. No problems where delivery is concerned; it arrived well within the estimated time frame, so happy there. All-in-all not a bad product which I would happily use again and recommend.

A good value pre-electric shaving lotion. I find I get a good and comfortable close shave and is now my lotion of choice (following the demise of Old Spice pre-electric).Quick delivery and a very good price.I am happy with my purchase and I will be buying more!
