Nail Trend Gel Application Preparation Prep and file nails (including cleaning/removing cuticles) for a smooth surface prior to application. Set up your UV lamp to prepare for the curing process (do not use the light unless curing). How to Apply Shake each bottle well before use to help spread polish evenly. Apply a thin layer of the base coat evenly on nails and cure: UV lamp 60 seconds Apply a thin and even first coat of colour nail polish and cure: UV lamp 120 seconds Apply a second thin and even coat of colour nail polish and cure: UV lamp 120 seconds Apply a thin even layer of top coat and cure: UV lamp 120 seconds Wipe nails carefully with a shine wipe to remove any residue also to bring out the beautiful high gloss shine. Nail Trend Gel Removal Preparation Ensure you have your Nail Trend aluminium foil wraps and pure acetone nail gel remover prepared. The removal process is best done over a small towel (to prevent acetone dripping onto any surfaces). How to Remove Soak a cotton pad with acetone and place directly onto the nail. Wrap the rectangular shaped aluminium foil around your fingertip and nail and squeeze to form a 'finger cap'. Leave on for approximately10 minutes. Remove the aluminium from your fingers. Using a dab of the pure acetone on a cotton pad/ball, give each finger a final wipe to remove any remaining residue. TIPS: If all layers do not fully dry but leaves a tacky residue, please continue applying the next layer. Many first time users think putting the nails in the cure lamp will make the polish 100% dry, but this is not the case, it needs a tacky texture to adhere with the next layer. Important: you need to clean the top coat after nails have been cured with a shine wipe to set the polish and remove the tacky residue, making your nails shiny. Some dark colours may need 3 thin coats of colour polish to ensure a rich and even coverage.
