This set is fantastic, I wish I had bought one years ago. I only used it for the first time yesterday so as far as longevity of the gel polish I can't yet comment, but it certainly feels as tough as salon nails I have had in the past.
If you can apply nail polish neatly then you will have no problem with this. It took me just about 35 minutes to completely finish both hands. You apply the base coat, put it in the lamp for 2 mins, then the same with two coats of the colour polish, one at a time then in the lamp each coat, then the same again with a coat of the top coat. Don't worry if they are sticky between coats, just carry on. At the end you need to wipe them hard with uv nail cleanser (purchased separately on Amazon, it's alcohol and I'm told a gel hand sanitiser will work just as well) and you need to do this using lint free pads, again purchased separately on Amazon. It's a little unnerving dong this as they are still sticky at this stage, but wipe hard until they feel...
