The perfect colour for me, 31 Mar. 2015

I have just recently submitted image feedback on this lipstick, as it is the incorrect colour. Considering I have just received this, and a previous reviewer mentioning they were expecting a berry colour, this is not as pictured. At the time of reviewing, this is listed as a berry colour, but is more a nude colour. It's quite close to this B00SYPLUES, rather than any of the others. (I've included a picture of mine, as you can see.)

This is a really nice lipstick to apply. It comes with the little applicator, alternatively, you can apply it with your finger, although I think this would stain your fingers. This is quite a close match to my natural colour, with just the added hint of colour. It does take a while to dry, so don't be worried if you suddenly touch your fingers to your lips and come back with it covered. I have had it on for over an hour so far and it's now transfer resistant. Still very very slightly tacky, when you smack your lips together,

Lovely lipstick but save for special occasions, 4 Dec. 2014

If I had rated this lipstick a few months ago I would have gone for 5 stars. Beautiful colour, lovely matte texture, doesn't wear off when eating, drinking etc. I actually wore this lipstick at my wedding and it was perfect all day. The problem came when I had been using the product daily for a couple of months - my lips became so dry due to how matte the lipstick is. I have now had to stop wearing lipstick altogether (not just this one) and have spent a fortune on lip balms. I would recommend this product for the odd special occasion as it is gorgeous but would definitely not advise daily use due to the long term drying effect it has had on my lips.

Loved this lipstick so much I made my sister buy one. It suits my tan skin tone perfectly. I would say my skin colour is dark tan, shade Honey 5 in Bobby Brown, like mixed raced or asian skin colour if that helps anyone. I did find it a tiny bit drying as the day wore on but if you put a good moisturising lip balm on you should be fine. It lasts hours even though meals. Of course you might need to reapply here and there but thats ok, not a miracle product. It gives a matt reddish maroon finish. I will put up a swatch once i get the chance (busy mum of toddlers) but I have to say its made me feel sexy lol which isn't easy when you're a mum of toddlers!
