Not much you can say about hairbands but these are quite thick and do not break the hair. The thick ones seem to hold the hair in place better. Very pleased with them.

quick delivery, had to tie my hair back for work and although my hair is thick, had no issues with tightness and it went round 3 times. used the same one for 5 days in a row 8 hours at a time, no signs of snapping

These are quite strong and does take the initial stretch for doing ponytails. These do break while flexing the stretch on a ponytail or perhaps I am stretching too hard? I am not used to using these as I am a guy so women will have more experience in this department. Good news is that these haven't broken whilst been tied into a ponytail.
